Epstein files latest: Bill and Hillary Clinton agree to testify before Congress over ties to pedophile financier
Bill and Hillary Clinton’s spokesperson has said that the pair’s appearance before Congress should set a precedent ‘that applies to everyone’

Both Bill and Hillary Clinton have agreed to testify in a House investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.
The pair have reversed their position days after a deluge of files related to the disgraced financier and convicted pedophile were made public by the DOJ, with the House moving to hold the Clintons in contempt if they refused to appear before Congress.
The former president and first lady have long argued that they submitted written testimony to Congress, as others in the investigation had, and that they had only a “limited knowledge” of Epstein.
Neither has been accused of any criminal wrongdoing in relation to Epstein and has repeatedly suggested that getting them to testify in front of Congress is an attempt to embarrass them.
“They negotiated in good faith,” Angel Ureña, President Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, posted. “You did not.
"They told you under oath what they know, but you don't care.
“But the former President and former Secretary of State will be there,” Ureña continued. “They look forward to setting a precedent that applies to everyone."
Canadian officials provide no answers about why Jeffrey Epstein was allowed to visit in 2014, following previous criminal charges
Jeffrey Epstein was allowed to visit Canada nearly six years after pleading guilty to a crime that should have barred his entry, according to a report.
Documents confirming Epstein’s travels to Vancouver in 2014 were released Friday, amongst the latest Epstein files.
However, it was unclear why he was permitted, given his 2008 guilty plea and 18-month jail stint on two prostitution charges, including soliciting prostitution from a minor.
The Canada Border Services Agency declined to tell CBC News why Epstein was allowed into the country, the outlet reported.
"We cannot provide comment on specific cases as a person’s immigration and border information is considered personal information and is protected by the Privacy Act," said Guillaume Bérubé, the CBSA's acting director of media relations.
"Admissibility of travelers is decided on a case-by-case basis and based on the information available at the time of entry."
Melinda French Gates reacts to ex-husband Bill Gates being mentioned in Epstein files
Melinda French Gates reacted to her ex-husband, Bill Gates, being mentioned in the latest release of the Epstein files.
Bill Gates’ name being mentioned in the files is not new; however, the latest batch of files released Friday shines a light on concerning alleged behavior of the Microsoft founder.
Emails in the files suggest that Bill Gates had additional affairs and that he tried to get medication to give to his wife to treat a sexually transmitted infection without her knowledge.
Melinda French Gates acknowledged the “painful times” in her marriage during an interview with NPR’s Wild Card podcast, but said her heart breaks for Jeffrey Epstein’s victims.

“No girl should ever be put in the situation that they were put in by Epstein and whatever was going on with all of the various people around him. No girl, I mean, it’s just beyond heartbreaking,” she said. “I remember being those ages those girls were. I remember my daughters being those ages.”
She continued: “For me, it’s personally hard whenever those details come up. It brings back memories of some very, very painful times in my marriage, but I have moved on from that. “
“And I am so happy to be away from all the muck,” she added.
A spokesperson for Bill Gates denied the allegations.
Mandelson to step down from House of Lords amid Epstein revelations
Images of New York City Major with Jeffrey Epstein are AI-generated
Artificial intelligence-generated photos claiming to show New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani as a child with Jeffrey Epstein have been debunked.
Multiple images of Mamdani and his mother, filmmaker Mira Nair, alongside Epstein, were widely shared on social media on Monday.
A parody X account originally shared the images after a new batch of Epstein files were released by the Justice Department Friday.

However, according to an Associated Press report, the images were created with AI. The parody account notes that it creates “high-quality AI videos and memes.”
One of the images showed Mamdani and Nair in front of a group of people, including Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein former President Bill Clinton, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Microsoft founder Bill Gates. In the image, Mamdani appeared to be a preteen or young teenager.
Another supposedly shows the same group, minus Nair.
Meanwhile, other AI-generated images depict Mamdani as a baby being held by Nair as she poses with Epstein.
The AI images began to be circulated after an email released last week mentioned Nair, an award-winning Indian filmmaker, who was supposedly at the same party as Epstein in 2009.
Mamdani appears as a baby or young child in all of the images, but he would have been 18 in 2009 when his mother is said to have attended the party.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie 'aghast' at mom's Epstein ties

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are “aghast” at the newly released emails between their mother, Sarah Ferguson, and Jeffrey Epstein.
The newly released emails detail Ferguson, nicknamed “Fergie” by the British press, telling Epstein that she needs £20,000 and congratulating him on a “baby boy.”
The bombshell revelations have left “appalled,” a source close to the sisters told The Daily Mail .
“They are aghast at what they have read,” the source said. “They are mortified by the emails their mother has sent to Epstein. It is so embarrassing for them.”
Their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, is also named in the files with one picture showing him crounched on all fours over an unidentified woman.
Epstein offered advice on dealing with Putin

A newly released recording appears to feature Jeffrey Epstein offering a man advice on how to deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
It is unknown who Epstein was speaking to in the recording.
“The key would be - I would think about is, no I’ve decided about is - at some point, I would send a note to Putin,” he begins, before going on to dictate a draft note for the listener to send to the Russian leader.
“I’m going to leave government on March 14,” Epstein can be heard dictating. “I’m going to be in Scandinavia or I plan to be in Northern Europe. We should have dinner.
“That’s it. No more. It has to be very short,” he concludes.
