Follow live coverage as AFC Bournemouth face Manchester United today in the Premier League. Another top-flight season will be covered in full right here with The Independent, as reigning champions Manchester City look to make it an unprecedented five titles in a row come the end of 2024/25.

The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool will be chasing Pep Guardiola's side, but just as fascinating will be the race for Champions League places, with more teams than ever before having designs on top-four finishes. Chelsea remain big-spending, Manchester United's latest rebuild continues and both Tottenham and Newcastle will expect improvements this year - yet it was Aston Villa who snared fourth last term.

Meanwhile, it's Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town who made it back to the elite after promotion last year and each will have hope they can make it more than a one-year stay. Follow the latest live action from the Premier League below:

Meanwhile, the away side is coming into this game after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Wolves at Old Trafford. A 77th-minute free-kick from Pablo Sarabia condemned Manchester United to a 15th league defeat this season. It has been a season to forget for Ruben Amorim’s side as the Red Devils languish in 15th place in the league, although they are still in contention to win the UEFA Europa League as they face Athletic Club in the first leg of a semi-final on 1st May 2025.

The Cherries are currently 10th in the Premier League table and a win today will see them climb the table to eighth place, as they look to secure a European berth for next season. Andoni Iraola’s men have earned 49 points in the Premier League this season, their highest ever tally in a campaign in the competition, surpassing their 48 in 2023-24.
