The visitors are hoping to force their opponents out wide, where Gordon and Barnes can help support Murphy and Livramento, while denying Odegaard space to play incisive passes into the penalty area.

RAYA GETS A PALM TO IT! Arsenal give possession straight to Tonali in midfield after a poor pass out from the back, which allows Newcastle to attack immediately. The ball is rolled into the path of Wilson, who lays it off on the penalty spot to Guimaraes, but the Brazil international’s shot is blocked by Raya from close range. The second effort looks to be looping over the head of the floored shot-stopper, but he reaches out an arm and whacks it away!
