Arsenal vs Wolves tips:
- Over 3.5 goals - 7/5 William Hill
- Noni Madueke to score at any time - 19/10 BetMGM
It’s top versus bottom in the Premier League on Saturday, when Arsenal host Wolves at the Emirates in the late kick-off (8pm, live on TNT Sports and Discovery+).
Wolves have lost their last eight games in the league and have just two points, after 1-1 draws with Tottenham and Brighton, so it’s no surprise that they are among the favourites for relegation in the Premier League odds.
They are only the fourth favourites, though, behind Burnley, West Ham and Leeds, despite their last league victory coming back in April, when they won 3-0 at home to Leicester.
That was the last game in a run of six straight wins, and since then they have gone 19 games without a win - so surely, it’s not going to come against the Gunners?
Arsenal sit at the opposite end of the table with 33 points from their 15 games played, but they were beaten last time out at Villa Park.
Leandro Trossard cancelled out Matty Cash’s first-half opener, and the Gunners looked the most likely winner, but it was Emi Buendia who finally found the net in added time to give Villa the win.
That was the third time in the last five games that Mikel Arteta’s side have dropped points after also drawing with Sunderland and Chelsea, which means their lead over Manchester City is down to just two points.
Arsenal vs Wolves betting: No hope for Wolves
If new boss Rob Edwards wasn’t sure of the size of the task at Molineux when he took over, he sure will be now after failing to make a difference in the four games he has taken charge of.
They have conceded eight and scored just one during that period, and the one scored came last time out when Jean-Ricner Bellegarde equalised at home to Manchester United, on the stroke of half-time, only for them to concede three more in the second half to lose 4-1.
It was the ninth time they have conceded two or more and only the fifth game they have scored in from 15, so the Wolves fans really have had very little to cheer about.
Arsenal have conceded just nine in the league so far, which is by far the best defensive record, and they have scored the second-highest number of goals with 28, so it’s hard to see this being anything but an Arsenal win.
The only thing Wolves can take some heart from is the fact that six of the goals Arsenal have conceded have come in their last five league games, which is double the amount they let in in their first 10.
Football betting sites have the Gunners at odds-on for all three points, so we’re going to have to get creative to make it worth your while.
Arteta’s side have won their last eight league games against Wolves, with an aggregate scoreline of 17-2, and have kept a clean sheet in the last three.
You have to go back to February 2021 for the last time Wolves won, a 2-1 win at home thanks to goals from Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho, but they were helped hugely by the sendings off of David Luiz and Bernd Leno.
That win actually completed the double for Wolves that season after they also won 2-1 at the Emirates through goals from Pedro Neto and Daniel Podence.
Arsenal vs Wolves prediction 1: Over 3.5 goals - 7/5 William Hill
Arsenal vs Wolves prediction: Madueke to haunt Wolves again
Noni Madueke was back among the goals on Wednesday when he scored twice in Arsenal’s 3-0 Champions League win away at Club Brugge.
He scored in each half before Gabriel Martinelli made sure of the win, but he is yet to score in the league since moving across London in the summer.
The former Chelsea star’s only other goal came in their 3-1 win over Bayern Munich, back in November.
He has scored four goals in his two Premier League starts against Wolves, though, including a hat-trick for Chelsea at Molineux last season. Madueke has value on betting sites to find the net against the Midlands outfit on Saturday.
