Their short passing style has not been effective enough, with Arsenal stopping them from breaking through their structure. As for Arsenal, they have been outstanding. Rice and Ødegaard have displayed their quality in possession, with Saka giving Kerkez a lot of problems on the right.

Arsenal are in complete control of the game after goals from Saka and Odegaard before half-time. The away side dominated possession and broke the deadlock through Saka. Odegaard's inswinging cross from the left was met by Jesus, who crashed the post from a tight angle. The rebound dropped to Saka in the middle of the box, who headed in from close range. The Gunners pushed for a second and found it from the spot. Nketiah was fouled inside the box by Aarons, with Odegaard rolling his penalty into the bottom corner. Billing broke free of Arsenal's defence before having a shot blocked and Solanke headed over.
