Follow live coverage as Crystal Palace face Ipswich Town today in the Premier League. Another top-flight season will be covered in full right here with The Independent, as reigning champions Manchester City look to make it an unprecedented five titles in a row come the end of 2024/25.

The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool will be chasing Pep Guardiola's side, but just as fascinating will be the race for Champions League places, with more teams than ever before having designs on top-four finishes. Chelsea remain big-spending, Manchester United's latest rebuild continues and both Tottenham and Newcastle will expect improvements this year - yet it was Aston Villa who snared fourth last term.

Meanwhile, it's Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town who made it back to the elite after promotion last year and each will have hope they can make it more than a one-year stay. Follow the latest live action from the Premier League below:

Crystal Palace vs Ipswich Town

Crystal Palace make it three wins on the bounce in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Ipswich in an entertaining game with plenty of action at both ends. It’s a bitter blow for Ipswich, who played well and had several chances to score, but couldn’t find the breakthrough and Palace eventually got their reward through Sarr on 82 minutes. Despite opportunities for both in the first half, it was goalless at the break, but Eze almost broke the deadlock straight after the restart, but his deflected strike hit the post. Delap and Philogene then both went close for Ipswich, with the latter having his close range strike cleared off the line following a corner, before Johnson headed wide from another opportunity. Palace also had several chances as Sarr and Munoz forced Palmer into some fine saves, but the Ipswich keeper was eventually beaten late on by Sarr, who produced a lovely chip to find the back of the net. Palace have now won nine out of their last 11 games in all competitions and today’s result moves them up to 11th in the table. Meanwhile Ipswich remain without a win in 2025 and are still five points adrift in 18th position. That’s all from us today, we hope you enjoyed the game!
