Lucas Moura's dramatic late goal sent Tottenham through to the Champions League knockout stages by earning a 1-1 draw at Barcelona.

Spurs, who had to match Inter Milan's result against PSV Eindhoven, were heading out of the competition and into the Europa League for the second time in three seasons as they trailed to Ousmane Demebele's early goal for most of the game and the Italians came from behind to level.

But, having missed chance after chance at the Nou Camp, Moura finally came to Spurs' rescue as he converted Harry Kane's cross with five minutes remaining.

It was the least they deserved as only an inspired performance from Barca number two Jasper Cillessen protected his side's five-year unbeaten run at home in European football, although ultimately they will be grateful to PSV for their favour in Italy. Re-live the live action below:

A huge night for Tottenham and Liverpool.

Contrasting campaigns for the two English sides, with Liverpool's fast start fading as the group stages have continued, and Spurs coming back from the brink after earning just a single point from the first three games in their group. Both face do-or-die clashes this evening.

Team news from Anfield and the Nou Camp is not too far away, but first, let's run you through the permutations of tonight's fixtures...

What Liverpool need to qualify...

Jurgen Klopp's side are third in Group C with six points. The group is topped by Napoli on nine points while PSG have eight in second place.

PSG travel to Belgrade to face Red Star this evening, and a win for the French side would secure their qualification. This seems a likely scenario, but if they do fail to beat the Serbians then Liverpool would progress with victory.

However, assuming PSG do win, Liverpool will have to usurp their opponents tonight. Therefore, a win is essential to move level on points with the Italians, and then things get tricky. A 1-0 win would be enough, but if Napoli score at any point then Liverpool will have to win by two clear goals. 

Entirely feasible in front of what is sure to be a vocal Anfield crowd. Tottenham face a tougher task...

What Spurs need to qualify...

Spurs know they need to match or better the result of Inter Milan, currently level on seven points with Mauricio Pochettino's side, if they are to progress.

Now, the circumstances make this a slightly difficult proposition. Inter host PSV (firmly out of the Champions League and unable to move from the foot of the group) and should be expected to do the job.

Thus, Spurs will almost certainly have to go into the Nou Camp and come away with victory over Barcelona. There are factors working in their favour, namely their opponents progression as group-toppers being already assured, but it is a tough ask nonetheless.
