Chelsea will face Porto in the Champions League quarter-finals after the Portuguese champions stunning extra-time victory over Juventus.

The Blues continued their fantastic run under new head coach Thomas Tuchel, outwitting Atletico Madrid across both legs of their last-16 tie to emerge as unlikely contenders in the competition.

Porto were considered the most favourable of the last-eight opponents, however, the 2004 champions have already proven they are no soft touch.

“The most important is that we feel we deserve this,” said Tuchel. “The most important is that we give the feedback for the guys what they did here in terms of quality and intensity.

“They play with a special bond and performances and results like this give you a certain edge and glue to achieve special things. You can only achieve this through results and experiences.

“It’s most important you feel it and that no one has to convince you. You need to feel it. I’m pretty sure no one wants to play against us. It’s a super-difficult challenge ahead because we are already in the last eight. It’s a big step, but no need to be afraid, we take what we get and prepare as best as possible.”

Elsewhere, holders Bayern Munich face Paris Saint-Germain in a mouth-watering quarter-final tie, while Liverpool will rematch Real Madrid after their acrimonious final in 2018. Favourites Manchester City will face Borussia Dortmund.
