Sevilla vs Leicester - as it happened: Jamie Vardy's vital away goal hands the Foxes hope in Europe
Re-live all the updates from the first-leg last-16 Champions League tie at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan
Leicester City will look to inject some life back into a season which is threatening to unravel when they return to Champions League action against Sevilla on Wednesday night.
Claudio Ranieri's side may be dicing with relegation from the Premier League, but Europe has been a much happier hunting ground for them this season.
Their opponents from Andalucia are a formidable side, however, and are currently Real Madrid's nearest challengers for the La Liga title.

It’s a big game for…
Claudio Ranieri. With Leicester’s domestic campaign crumbling before the Italian’s eyes, the Champions League offers the Foxes with some much-needed respite. Ranieri’s men head into Wednesday’s match without a league win in 2017 and just one point separating them from the relation zone. Leicester are running out of ideas but a defiant run in Europe could be what the Foxes need to kick-start their floundering league form and save their manager from the chop.
Best stat…
The Foxes have yet to score a league goal in 2017. Their 1-0 defeat by Millwall at the weekend was the seventh time in 10 competitive games that Leicester have failed to find the back of the net.
Player to watch…
Steven N’Zonzi. Since joining Sevilla from Stoke, the Frenchman has enjoyed a startling revival in form. As a defensive midielder, N’Zonzi has established himself at the heart of Jorge Sampaoli’s team, halting opposition attacks, breaking up play and distributing the ball intelligently. Construction, not destruction, is the nature of his game. As a player dubbed the “octopus”, for his long, tentacle-like legs, N’Zonzi could be key to keeping Foxes' counter-attacking style at bay.

Odds…
Sevilla to win: 3/8
Leicester City to win: 8/1
Draw: 39/10
16 mins: Wes Morgan wasn't even booked for that challenge. What a Brucie bonus.
17 mins: Leicester win a free-kick when Nasri quite cynically barges into N'didi to break up an attack. The Premier League champions take it quickly and Albrighton fires in a vicious cross, but it evades everybody and flies out of play.
Better.
19 mins: This is already a brilliantly entertaining game. Vitolo combines nicely with Sarabia, and the latter looks to have the measure of Fuchs who is struggling at left-back. But fortunately for Leicester, Sarabia's attempted dink into the box is poor, and easily hacked clear by Huth.
Meanwhile, here's a picture of Mahrez looking particularly cool:
21 mins: Sevilla experiencing far too much joy down the right flank. Fuchs is really struggling. This time the ball is cut inside to Nasri who tries to release Correa with a neat little through-ball, but he gets too much on it and it just - just - goes out for a goal-kick.
23 mins: Good save from Schmeichel! The ball is played into Jovetic in the middle of the park and his back-heel releases Correa down the right. He moves inside and spots the run of Jovetic, and he strikes the ball sweetly, rifling in a low shot.
But Schmeichel gets down well, parrying the ball and even saving the corner.
24 mins: Sevilla's formation seems so flexible, their front six are all switching positions regularly and Vitolo, Sarabia and Correa are all looking to overload this right-flank, with Fuchs struggling. They've been a joy to watch so far.
GOAL! Sevilla 1-0 Leicester City (Sarabia '24)
Sorry Leicester City. I knew I shouldn't have embedded that tweet in the below post. Curse of the liveblogger and all that...
25 mins: A fantastic goal. Vitolo broke down the left and twisted Simpson inside and out before laying it off to Escudero. He picked out the run of Sarabia with an inch-perfect, inswinging cross and the midfielder's header was emphatic.
Schmeichel had absolutely no chance, the ball clattering in off the post. It's no more than Sevilla deserve.
