We're back underway for the second half at Goodison Park. Who will break the deadlock?
Everton vs Manchester City
One big chance for either side in what has been a relatively low-key affair at Goodison Park so far. Tarkowski headed against the post from a corner after 30 minutes before De Bruyne nearly put Manchester City ahead on the stroke of half-time with a left-footed strike towards the bottom corner that was blocked brilliantly by the head of O’Brien. Everton had just one shot in the first half, generating 0.18xG while City managed only two shots on target with an xG of 0.23. Moyes will be pleased with his side’s defensive performance, though, as they have stuck to their task with discipline, shutting down space in the final third and harrying the City midfield well.
