Ryan Reynolds gushes about co-owning Wrexham as side play out FA Cup epic

Non-league Wrexham will get a dream FA Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur in the fifth round, if they defeat Sheffield United in a replay next week.

Wrexham - who are owned by Hollywood duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney - are the only non-league side left in the competition but they were denied a famous win on Sunday evening at the Racecourse Ground as Sheffield United scored a late equaliser in a 3-3 thriller.

Elsewhere, Manchester City were drawn away to Bristol City, in one of only two complete ties to be made on Monday evening. Pep Guardiola’s side defeated Premier League leaders Arsenal on Friday night, while Bristol City knocked out West Brom.

Manchester United were drawn at home against West Ham, who went on to defeat Derby County in the final fourth-round tie on Monday night. It’s currently the only all-Premier League fixture, but that will change if Fulham defeat Sunderland in their replay and set up a match against Leeds.

West Ham sweep aside Derby in FA Cup to set up Manchester United meeting

West Ham booked a fifth-round FA Cup tie at boss David Moyes’ former club Manchester United with a comfortable 2-0 win at Derby County.

Jarrod Bowen’s third goal in two games gave the Hammers a first-half lead and Michail Antonio headed home their second five minutes after break.

The Londoners made it back-to-back wins after beating Everton 2-0 to climb out of the Premier League’s bottom three nine days go and rarely needed to hit top gear as they halted League One side Derby’s 19-game unbeaten run.

Paul Warne’s side are flying high in fourth place in the third tier and there were high hopes of an upset among the home faithful before kick-off in a Pride Park crowd of 25,308.

Two goals - one at the start of each half - is enough to send West Ham into the fifth round of the FA Cup. Derby County came into the match with confidence and performed admirably in the first half.

Their biggest failure was a lack of shots on target. The Rams created enough opportunities to score but weren’t clinical in front of goal.

Full-time: Derby 0-2 West Ham

West Ham United complete consecutive 2-0 victories to build some momentum to the back half of the season. The Premier League side knock out their League One opponents and set up a clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford in the next round.

It was a comfortable and routine win for David Moyes’ side, Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio both got on the scoresheet and West Ham’s dream of Wembley goes on.
