Anthony Knockaert and Jurgen Locadia fire Brighton into last eight at Derby's expense
The Premier League side proved too good at the Amex Stadium
Brighton are into the FA Cup quarter-finals for the second-successive season after seeing off Derby County in the last-16.
First-half goals from Anthony Knockaert and Jurgen Locadia were enough for the Seagulls to secure their progression with Ashley Cole's late goal - a first-ever in the competition - proving to be just a consolation.
Here's how it all played out at the Amex Stadium:

GOAL! Newport 1-3 Manchester City (Foden)
89 minutes
Newport have a glimmer of hope, but City immediately snatch it away. Foden sets off on another jinking run, beats a couple of players and fires past Day to add City's third and put the tie to bed.
Newport 1-3 Manchester City
90 minutes
There'll be four minutes of added time.
Newport 1-3 Manchester City
90+3 minutes
City win a free kick in shooting range and Sane drills his effort against the wall. A fourth goal would be harsh but that won't concern this relentless City side.
GOAL! Newport 1-4 Manchester City (Mahrez)
90+4 minutes
And there is the fourth. Mahrez is picked out on the left, with time and space to find the bottom corner. That's exactly what he does, firing past Day at the near post.
Full time: It ends 4-1, but that is not a full reflection of the way the game went. Newport were well in the game in the first half and even put themselves back in contention with Amond's late goal. City, though, had too much quality in the end.
Amond, with that late goal, made it five from seven appearances in the FA Cup this season. He's been the star of this impressive run to the fifth round and, like his teammates, deserves all the plaudits he's getting.
Pep Guardiola has given his verdict on the game to BT Sport:
It was a really tough game. They scored a goal – a stupid goal – at the end and Phil’s goal helped the team to not suffer at the end. A big compliment to all the guys who played today. The first 15-20 minutes were difficult. They were much, much better than us. But the last 50 minutes we were good. Winning here – I realise what English football is today – we are not used to these types of games. That is why the Cup is so difficult.
That's it from me today, then, as City, Millwall and Brighton book their places in the quarter finals of the FA Cup. I'll leave you with our player ratings from Prenton Park. Thanks for joining me!
