It's also a big night for Louis van Gaal. The Dutchman is under pressure and knows he has to deliver a piece of silverware - or a top four finish - this season.

The 64-year-old is well aware a trip to the Boleyn Ground represents the last chance saloon....

"It is our last chance of a trophy so it is very important for the players, for the club, for the manager and for the fans. Still, we have one day less than West Ham [to prepare] and that is also important," he told the club's official website.

"But we have proved against Arsenal and Manchester City, in spite of having less days to recover, that we could beat them so I hope that we shall recover very well.

"Also mentally, because this is a blow [at White Hart Lane] of course, but everybody knows this is the last chance."

Two changes from Slaven Bilic. Darren Randolph and Enner Valencia come in for Adrian and Winston Reid.Andy Carroll, as expected, leads the line. It's going to be a 'long' night for the United defence if his form against Arsenal is anything to go by.

Meanwhile, Wayne Rooney is fit enough to feature on United's bench.

The skipper's return will come as a boost but it will be up to Marcus Rashford to lead the line from the off.

(Ashley Young is also on the bench after a surprise appearance up top against Spurs at the weekend).
