Fulham vs Everton
A smash and grab away performance from Everton sees the Blues leave Craven Cottage with a 3-1 win and all three points. For much of the first half, it was difficult to see where the goals were going to come from for David Moyes' side. That seemed especially accurate as Fulham talisman, Jimenez nodded home on 17 minutes after good work from Smith Rowe down the left. Everton got themselves on level terms with a cruelly deflected effort from Mykolenko, who atoned for his earlier mistake, losing his marker for the first goal. Everton emerged after the break with much more urgency and intent and went ahead through Keane's header after McNeil centred from a corner. Just three minutes later, Everton added a third from the industrious Beto. Leno will certainly feel he should have done better after a right-footed shot was allowed to squirm through the stopper's gloves. Nevertheless, it was agood finish from Everton's top scorer, who moves onto eight goals for the campaign. Fulham boss, Silva will be bitterly disappointed his side were unable to make headway in their quest for European football, today. It looked an ideal opportunity against a struggling Everton outfit, but they failed to press home home advantage. Fulham did have chances, and mustered an xG of 0.97. Everton's was healthier with an xG of 1.05, but they took their chances and take the win. They will now divert their attention to the emotional fixture at Goodison next week. There is a check here for a handball inside the Everton area. Traore chips the ball up at Mykolenko's hand. His hand is away from his body, but he can't possibly get out of the way. The on-field official is asked to look at the pitchside monitor.
