From an Everton point of view, the focus (understandably) is being heavily placed on the emotional events of next week when they wave goodbye to Goodison Park-one of English football’s most iconic venues-and prepare to welcome in the new era at the state-of-the-art Everton Stadium. That said, David Moyes is far too pragmatic to allow sentiment to obstruct the task in hand, which is to prepare his Blues to face former Toffees boss Marco Silva and his Fulham team, who sit three places and 12 points in front of them.
