Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur
The full-time whistle blows at Craven Cottage as Fulham defeat Tottenham in west London. After a below par first half with both sides struggling to create anything meaningful in front of goal, the Cottagers sealed all three points in the second half thanks to Marco Silva’s substitutions. Brazilian striker Rodrigo Muniz came off the bench to fire the west Londoners in front with a pinpoint finish after good work from Andreas Pereira before Ryan Sessegnon put the icing on the cake against his former side with a stunning curling effort into the top corner after some poor defending from Ben Davies. There wasn’t much to separate both teams from an xG point of view, with Fulham creating 0.99, and Spurs 0.98. The win for Fulham moves them into 8th place, while Tottenham have now lost 15 games this season and remain in 13th. Thanks for reading!
