A note on the Uefa Nations League.
The Nations League is split into four divisions. The top three divisions have four groups of four teams. Each side plays the other three in their group at home and away.
The bottom division is made up of two groups, one with four teams and one with three.
The team to win each group in League A, the top division, go into a finals tournament played in September or October next year. The teams that top their group in Leagues B, C and D all get promoted. Teams finishing bottom of their group in Leagues A and B are relegated with a play-off deciding who goes down in League C.
England won their group in the previous tournament and finished third overall.
It has been four years since England last faced Iceland. Here’s a look at what happened back then:
Phil Foden will make his England debut tonight as Gareth Southgate rewards the youngster’s good form for Manchester City. James Ward-Prowse also makes his first start for England with Jadon Sancho joining Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling in the forward line.
"Everything we've seen on the training pitch, I'd have no hesitation in starting any of the players that have been with us," added Southgate.
"That's why they're picked in the first place, but you're never certain how they'll adapt and fit in with the group."
England captain, Harry Kane, has been involved in 16 goals in his last six matches for England. He’s scored 10 goals and got six assists. He has scored in all six of those games and would become only the third player to score in seven or more consecutive games for England after George Camsell and Steve Bloomer.
After being initially selected in the squad for tonight’s game and the subsequently dropped after his arrest in Greece, Harry Maguire will feature for England later in the year according to England manager, Gareth Southgate.

Southgate will not hesitate in bringing the Manchester United captain back into his squad for next month’s games against Belgium and Denmark after dropping him following his arrest in Greece last month
