Some big news from The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: Tanguy Ndombele isn't injured, he has simply been ... left out of the squad.

He's had a strange start to his Spurs career. He started fairly brightly and was obviously Mauricio Pochettino's primary transfer target this summer, but has struggled with his fitness a little bit and, so far, it seems as though Mourinho just doesn't really fancy him.

Oh my word.

Jose Mourinho is being interviewed on Amazon Prime. Jim Rosenthal opens up with a nice easy question: "Good Christmas, Jose?"

"No. Not really. My dog died. And our dog was our family."

😭😭😭

A good stat from Opta: Tottenham are unbeaten in their last 13 top-flight Boxing Day games (W10 D3) since losing 0-2 at Portsmouth in 2003. Their last such home defeat was back in 1991 against Nottingham Forest (1-2).

Potter: "We lost Lewis yesterday due to some sickness. And we made the changes because tactically that is how I want to play against Tottenham."

Will there be a formation change?

"No. At this time of year things aren't easy to predict. So we will carry on with what we've been working with."
