Crystal Palace 1-0 Man City: The Eagles held on for a famous victory after Ebere Eze’s goal and Dean Henderson’s save to deny Omar Marmoush’s penalty in a Wembley final packed with controversy
A heroic Crystal Palace performance downed Manchester City to claim the FA Cup and a first major trophy at Wembley Stadium.
Ebere Eze's first-half goal and Dean Henderson's penalty save proved vital moments for Oliver Glasner's side in a day of destiny for the Eagles.
Pep Guardiola will feel aggrieved after Henderson remained on the pitch, despite a VAR check, with the Eagles goalkeeper touching the ball outside the box and appearing to deny the Norwegian a clear goalscoring opportunity.
Daniel Munoz thought he had doubled Palace's lead in the second half, but Ismaila Sarr was offside after a VAR check.
And Guardiola could only throw on Phil Foden and a debut for Argentine youngster Claudio Echeverri, who was denied by Henderson late on.
Palace survived and held on for the greatest moment in their history.

"It's incredible, [I’m] so tired, so proud of everyone. We deserve this so much. Just so delighted to get over the line, [it] seemed like we were out there for 24 hours,” he says.
"I didn't know it was for me, the ball came into the box, I wasn't sure, I asked Chilly if it was me, and he said yes, but who cares? It doesn't matter. I'm not bothered.
"I saved a penalty down there a few years ago for Shrewsbury, I was confident. You’ve just got to stay focused, [they’re] such a good team, they had 10 mins added on, but we dug in.
"I just went to shake his [Guardiola's] hand, but he was disappointed by the time wasting, but no hard feelings,” he adds on the reaction he got from the City manager.

“I don’t even know what to say. Only God could do this. We’ve come here three times as a club, facing a team that’s been the best in the world for how long, so to show that spirit…
“I just couldn’t breathe, they keep the ball so well, you have got to work so hard to get anything from them.
“But when you get up there into the box, you’ve got to make it count,” he adds.
On being rejected from clubs when he was younger: “I forget about it, but you guys keep reminding me about it! To be in this position now is special, it’s hard to use the right words.”

Eze reacts
Ebere Eze is next to speak to the media, and he says he has “no words” to describe it.
“I don't know what to say, I can only thank God. It's special, man, it's what dreams are made of. Who thought we could do it? We made history today.
“That spirit, man, energy, everyone fighting together, it's special.
He adds that he was “always concerned” with City’s attacking.
“We don't want to give these guys a chance, they're too good, in that position, we had to hold on.
“It is what it is, to be honest I don't care about any of that, we just won. It's a special thing,” he adds as he finishes.
Henderson reacts
Dean Henderson is first to speak to the BBC, and he calls the result “incredible”.
“We had a feeling it’d be our day today. The whole week its been building up.
“The manager had a game plan and we executed it,” he adds.
On the penalty: “He [Haaland] gave it to Marmoush, I knew which way he was going, I knew I’d save it.”
On the potential red card: “The ball carried into my box, I knew it was mine.”
He finishes by adding: “I lost my dad at the start of the season, but I dedicate that win to him.”
