De Bruyne whips a free kick in from the right that is easily dealt with by Richards. It's the first home game for the Belgian since he announced his departure at the end of the season. There has already been plenty of chants in his name from the City crowd.

Palace's early goal hasn't slowed City down. They are passing the ball around very confidently, and will feel confident of scoring at least once today. It is very easy for the visitors to get in behind on the break though.

BIG CHANCE! City come ever so close to equalising with Marmoush being sent in on goal by De Bruyne. The Egyptain's touch is excellent but his strike is well stopped by Henderson. Richards puts an arm out to hold him back, and Palace are slightly lucky not to concede a penalty.
