Wolves' short passing has been a joy to watch in tight spaces so far. Andre, Ait-Nouri and Cunha link up down the left before the latter is brought down by Mazraoui for a free-kick just outside the box by the left byline. Cunha whips it in but Lindelof gets a strong head on it to clear.

The Algerian then tries a cross-box ball from the left byline, but a recovering touch from a red defender ends the danger and United clear. Hojlund is nearly set away in behind, but Toti recovers well to nod out for a throw.

Garnacho shows great early signs here as he runs at Bueno on the left of the box. The defender stands his ground, and clears behind with a touch off Garnacho bringing a goal kick. It feels like a suitable time to just amend the starting XI for Wolves. Jose Sa withdrew before the game and has been replaced by Dan Bentley.

Wolves start brightly, popping the ball around smartly down the left before Dorgu reacts well. In the next phase, the men in yellow continue their earlier on-ball confidence with United taking on a very stubborn structure until Onana gets a goal kick.
