Welcome to The Independent's live coverage of today's Premier League football as we bring you the latest scores and updates from across the country.

Arsenal kick off today's proceedings as they bid to return to winning ways against Marco Silva's Hull.

Following a dip in form that has seen them lose two consectuive matches, and with talk of Arsene Wenger finally parting ways with the club at the end of the season, the Gunners will be desperate to take all three points against the Tigers.

Elsewhere, Jose Mourinho's Manchester United welcome Watford to Old Trafford while Ronald Koeman's Everton travel to Middlesbrough.

Come 5.30pm, all attention will be firmly fixed on Anfield as Liverpool take on Tottenham in a crunch match at the top of the table. If Spurs are to stand any chance of keeping their title hopes alive, this is one fixture they need to win.

Saturday's fixtures:

Arsenal 12:30 Hull

United 15:00 Watford

Middlesbrough 15:00 Everton

Stoke 15:00 Crystal Palace

Sunderland 15:00 Southampton

West Ham 15:00 West Brom

Liverpool 17:30 Tottenham

Gibbs replaces Monreal for The Gunners today. He's going to have a tough afternoon up against the on-form Hull forwards, that's for sure. A win today for The Tigers will take them out of the relegation zone for the first time in almost four months.

The players march out on the pitch at The Emirates. Both sides are desperate for these three points, for two very different reasons. An on-form Hull side could add insult to injury for a struggling Arsenal side here today, as the home side enter the clash on the back of consecutive defeats.

Just minutes until kick off now.

It will be key for the Arsenal side to quickly today and assert an early dominance over the visitors. They look energetic so far, but Sanchez's first attempt on goal is deflected out for a corner kick.

N'Diaye charges forward chasing a through ball, but his attempted cross into the box is deflected out for Hull's first corner kick of the game.

The Arsenal boss is serving the final game of his touchline ban today, as he watches his side from a distance following an incident with an official.

Sanchez steals possession following a defensive lapse from Hull, but after a returned pass from Iwobi, his shot on goal is blocked. That's twice already that The Tigers defence have given the ball away in front of their own goal - that should be a wake up call.

Markovic dispossesses Iwobi and drives into the Arsenal half. He looks up and delivers a terrific ball across the face of goal, but it fails to find Niasse in the middle.

The Hull side look organised, but The Gunners are controlling the tempo of the clash so far and look the more menacing going forward.

A clever ball into the box from Grosicki finds the head of Niasse, but his attempt is parried away for a corner kick by Cech. It's certainly Hull's best chance of the game, so far.

At the other end, Sanchez misses a golden opportunity for Arsenal. Walcotts ball was deflected to the Chilean inside of the box, but his left-footed strike drives wide of the post. A player of his striking prowess should atleast be testing the keeper from there.
