90+5 mins: RED CARD! SUNDERLAND 3 CHELSEA 2:
In the final seconds, John Terry has picked up a second yellow card for a late lunge on Wahbi Khazri, and could that be the end of his Chelsea career. The Blues' captain is out of contract in the summer, but although he will miss the midweek game at Liverpool, he should be back for the final match of the season against Leicester*. If not, I'm sure he'll find a spare kit somewhere.*I've just been informed that because it's his second red card of the season, Terry WILL serve a two-match ban. He may have played his last Chelsea game.
10 mins: Everton had responded relatively well after falling behind, enjoying a lengthy spell of possession in the final third, but then within seconds, the home side had surged forward and nearly made it 2-0. Riyad Mahrez's whipped cross was perfect for Andy King, but the Welsh midfielder's close range header was straight at Joel Robles. So Leicester City.
13 mins: The Foxes are on the prowl again! A beautiful touch from Marc Albrighton gives Christian Fuchs space to move into the Everton box from the left, but just as the Austrian was ready to pull the trigger, an excellent tackle from Stones denied the defender. The half-hearted penalty appeals were drowned out by the non-stop racket from the stands.
18 mins: Echoes of Tony Adams as burly defender Wes Morgan plays a one-two with Marc Albrighton on the left wing, and surges goalwards. The crowd urge him to shoot, but as the chance opens up, Morgan opts to play a square pass that is intercepted. That could have been Martin Tyler's second "And that sums it all up" moment.
24 mins: The rain is bucketing down now at the King Power Stadium, but nothing can dampen the enthusiasm among the Leicester hordes. Meanwhile, Everton force the game's first corner from which Aaron Lennon sends a long range shot into the ground. As the ball ricochets around the penalty area, John Stones attempts an acrobatic overhead kick, but the offside flag was up nevertheless.
58 mins: Kasper Schmeichel wants to end the season at the King Power Stadium with a clean sheet, and he's going the right way about it. After Bryan Ovideo's corner had ended up with John Stones at the far post, the defender headed back into the danger area for Romelu Lukaku eight yards out. The Lukaku of three months ago would have buried it, but this pale imitation headed tamely goalwards and Schmeichel was able to claw the ball away.
61 mins: It should have been three! More trickery from Mahrez comes in the form of a nutmeg in midfield and a perfectly weighted pass into the path of Christian Fuchs. The left-back takes the shot on first time, but it lacks the power to beat Joel Robles.
