Mino Raiola has launched another attack on Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for his “wrong” Erling Haaland comparison.

Paul Pogba’s agent has spoken out about his client at Old Trafford on the eve of the Red Devils’ crucial Champions League match against RB Leipzig, where they require a point to guarantee their progression to the last 16.

But Raiola, who has been labelled a disgrace by Jamie Carragher, has not stopped at Pogba when discussing United, with the super agent taking an opportunity to mock Solskjaer for his failed pursuit of Borussia Dortmund star Haaland.

Solskjaer travelled to Salzburg last year to meet the Norwegian striker's camp in an attempt to persuade the Norwegian phenom to move to the Premier League, while he also previously compared Haaland to Romelu Lukaku, who was tied to Raiola until recently.

“Haaland is like Ibra when he was 20,” Raiola told Tuttosport. "Solskjaer is a good guy but he was wrong when he said that Erling is like Lukaku.

“It would be better if Solskjaer thought about finding a way to make Pogba play like a champion, instead of talking about Haaland.”

Solskjaer’s comments comparing Haaland to Lukaku came back in 2018 before moving from Molde to RB Salzburg: “He can become a top striker for sure. He reminds me of the type of striker Lukaku is.”

The 20-year-old has quickly proven himself to be one of the world’s best strikers,  with 17 goals in 14 appearances this term for BVB, with his style enough to terrify defenders, according to Raiola.

“Erling Haaland is like a painting,” Raiola explained. “He is like Munch's Scream because he causes fear in the defenders.

“He called me after being substituted at 85: he had scored 4 goals, he wanted to score another. He was furious! He wants to be the best also if he’s playing checkers.”

Carragher meanwhile urged United to “get rid” of Pogba after the latest drama surrounding his future at the club.

“I've been saying this for 12 months, oh my god, he is the most overrated player I've ever seen in my life,” Carragher said on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.

"I think the two of them are a disgrace. We'll all blame the agent now and say 'ask Pogba', what does he think?

"Agents in this day and age, they're not just agents. They're a parent, they're a best friend, they're the financial advisor, they book holidays, they go away together.

"Those two will be like that. He'll be Pogba's best mate, so Pogba will be well aware of what was going to come out of his mouth.

"If he wasn't, he should sack his agent. It's very, very simple. That's all that needs to happen.

"I don't know where he's going to go, who is going to have him?"
