The 2015/16 season certainly provided a number of memorable moments, from Jamie Vardy breaking the record for the scoring in consecutive matches to Tottenham imploding at Chelsea to see their title aspirations evaporate before their very eyes.

But who will forget the year that Leicester City went from Premier League basement dwellers to league champions? No one, that’s for sure.

From the season-opening 1-0 victory for Manchester United against Tottenham to Tuesday night’s final encounter between Louis van Gaal’s side and Bournemouth, there’s been plenty more incidents along the way that has grabbed Twitter’s attention like never before.

Of the clubs that feature in the top 15, Arsenal can boast the highest number of moments with five, with league champions Leicester and United following up with three apiece. Liverpool and Chelsea saw two of their season-defining moments make the list, while the final spot on the list goes to Manchester City, with Tottenham surprisingly missing out – though they are included in the form of two moments going against them.
