Sunday’s Premier League matches

Manchester City vs Southampton – 13:30

Chelsea vs Manchester United – 16:00

50 mins: GOAL! HULL 0 STOKE 2:

Two for Stoke City, two for Xherdan Shaqiri and the Hull City ship is sinking once again. The Swiss international was fouled by Curtis Davies just outside the box, but picked himself up to curl the resulting free-kick beyond a slow-to-react David Marshall. The Tigers have now conceded 19 goals in the past five Premier League games.

63 mins: GOAL! LEICESTER 2 CRYSTAL PALACE 0:

A second goal for the champions! Danny Drinkwater broke down the left and looked for Islam Slimani in the middle, and although an excellent piece of defending from Damien Delaney cut out the cross, the loose ball fell for the arriving Shinji Okazaki. Taking the shot on first time, the Japanese striker sent a left-footed effort low past Steve Mandanda and into the bottom corner at the near post.

We're almost ready at Anfield...

...the same cannot be said about Daniel Sturridge.

Hurry up, Daniel. You've got a bench to warm.

KICK-OFF: It has been a good day for Liverpool before they even start a game of their own. Both Tottenham and Arsenal above them have faltered and they go into this match this evening knowing a two-goal victory will take them to the top of the pile. Tony Pullis' West Bromwich Albion won't be easy, however, and it's only five days since Jurgen Klopp's team failed to get the better of another dour, defensive team who came to Anfield looking for nothing other than a draw.

2 mins: An early penalty shout for the home side but Neil Swarbrick - after consultation with his assistant via his headset - says no and awards the free-kick in West Brom's favour. Sadio Mane burst into the box, but the tangle of legs with Allan Nyom was clearly the fault of the Liverpool player. At least, I think that's what happened. It's almost impossible to tell from this new camera one location among the clouds at Anfield.

9 mins: In keeping with the other Premier League fixtures this Saturday, it's been a slow start at Anfield. While Liverpool are playing confident possession football in midfield, they've shown little presence in attack with Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho both dropping deep to find space between West Brom's deep defensive banks. This game will need an early goal to open it up.

30 mins: A piece of sloppy play from Loris Karius gifts Albion a throw-in and the chance to gain some territory in the Liverpool defensive third. Dawson's throw-in is flicked on into the box by James McClean, but the pass evades Salomon Rondon. If nothing else, it's some rare respite for the visiting side.

32 mins: Another crisp Liverpool attack ends with Adam Lallana sending a shot wide from the edge of the box. The Liverpool attacking midfielder, in for Daniel Sturridge this evening, has barely put a foot wrong in this opening half hour.
