Chelsea sit top of the Premier Leagye after they delivered a brilliant performance to thrash Everton 5-0 and capitalise on Manchester City failing to win against Middlesbrough, with Pep Guardiola's side being pegged back to a 1-1 draw. Sunderland earned their first win of the season, while Burnley snatched a victory at the death against Crystal Palace. Re-live the action here.

Welcome to The Independent's live coverage of today's Premier League action, with five games set to take place as Chelsea and Manchester City feature.

With no early game, we start the day at 3pm as Bournemouth host basement side Sunderland, Burnley welcome Crystal Palace to Turf Moor and league leaders Manchester City look to give themselves breathing space when they take on Middlesbrough. West Ham take on Stoke City where all eyes will be on the London Stadium and any possible crowd trouble, with the move to the former Olympic Stadium triggering a wave of disorderly and violent clashes.

The final game of the day sees Everton travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in what could prove to be a lively affair as both teams arrive in good form.

Last week's slightly fortunate point at Old Trafford followed victory over Everton for the Clarets and Sean Dyche's side will fancy their chances of continuing their mini-run against a Palace side on a three-match losing run. Palace did, however, win on their last visit to Turf Moor, 3-2 in January of last year.
