Sir Alex Ferguson look-alike spotted dressed as steward at Manchester United defeat to Bournemouth
The steward at the Vitality Stadium bared an uncanny resemblance to the former Old Trafford boss
Since retiring as manager of Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson has found it difficult to keep away from his former team's matches. But has he become so desperate to attend games he's sneaking in dressed as a steward?
Of course not, but that's what a few people were left wondering when a steward at Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium baring an uncanny resemblance to the Scot was spotted by cameras during Manchester United's 2-1 defeat at the weekend.
Fergson's presence in the stands was rumoured to be a distraction for David Moyes during his short stint at Old Trafford, but Fergie, now a director at the club, has continued to attend games during the reign of current boss Louis van Gaal. Might having the most successful manager in the club's history looking on be a distraction for the current boss as well? Such a thought had conspiracy theorists asking if Ferguson had resorted to sneaking in wearing a disguise in order to go undetected whilst keeping tabs on his former side.
Wherever the real Ferguson was watching from, he won't have been impressed with what he saw from the current Manchester United side, who were deservedly beaten by the newly promoted Cherries.
