Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp could raid his former club as he looks to strengthen on transfer deadline day.

Redknapp is already linked with a Jermain Defoe reunion and could add out of favour Tottenham Hotspur pair Aaron Lennon and Sandro to the ranks at Loftus Road.

Andros Townsend is another ex-player interesting Redknapp, but he is being used as bait as Tottenham try to lure Jay Rodriguez to White Hart Lane.

Lennon, 27, was left out of Mauricio Pochettino's squad for the 3-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday and has played just 60 minutes of the season so far.

25-year-old Sandro is yet to play a part under the new Tottenham manager in the Premier League this season, with Pochettino so far preferring Nabil Bentaleb and Etienne Capoue.

Lennon would be available on loan but Sandro would have to be bought, and reports emerged this afternoon that the Brazilian midfielder is having a medical at QPR's training ground ahead of a £10m switch across London.

Should a fee for the Brazilian midfielder prove too costly, Redknapp could turn his attentions to West Ham's Mo Diame, but all signs are pointing to a new addition among the Rangers ranks.
