Yaya Toure is determined to leave Premier League champions Manchester City this summer, with Liverpool and Chelsea interested, according to reports in France.

The Ivory Coast midfielder made his unhappiness at the club very publicly known after the end of the season, complaining that no-one at the club wished him a happy birthday and that he would review his position "after the World Cup".

It was also after the tragic death of his brother Ibrahim that Toure again blasted the club, suggesting that his club did not offer him enough support during the period.

French newspaper Le Parisien have quoted an unnamed international team-mate of Toure's as saying: "He has accumulated too many grudges against [Manchester City's] leaders and he will not stay with them.

"He will do everything to ensure his departure this summer."
