His effort hit the foot of the post in his last action of the game. Brighton were level through Van Hecke, after they took a quick corner-kick, leaving Wolves unset at the back, and finding Van Hecke in the box. His header gave Johnstone no chance in goal, and the sides were level. Neither side came close to scoring a late winner, with the game remaining at one-a-piece. Before the game, Brighton were Opta’s favourites to take home all three points, with the draw the least likely outcome. Brighton beat Wolves on xG, with the score being 1.15 xG compared to 0.56 xG in the Seagulls favour. Wolves, who are still winless, remain at the foot of the table.
