Every week we invite competing companies to give us their best deal for a particular holiday. Today: a summer walking holiday in the mountains of Europe. Prices are for two people, departing for seven nights on 4 July.

Includes B&B and six dinners at the Haus Valentin in Pedraces, transfers from Venice, as well as five days of optional high- or intermediate-level walks, Via Ferrata, flower walks and casual painting days; travel to Italy is not included. "This holiday is as relaxing as it is invigorating, whether you are the energetic adventurer seeking out the exhilaration of the high trails and Via Ferrata, or you simply dream of an alpine retreat, strolling through woodland, picturesque Tyrolean hamlets and wildflower-strewn meadows," says Tom Collett, the managing director of Collett's Mountain Holidays.
