THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Situated downtown by a busy boulevard with shops, cafés, cinemas and the like nearby, within a 15-minute drive are The World Trade Centre, Dubai International Financial Centre, Jumeirah Beach, and shopping malls. The airport is a 20-minute drive away. The gigantic Dubai Mall, the aquarium, KidZania indoor playground and the Burj Khalifa - the highest building in the world - are nearby.

By plane: flights from London and Manchester to Dubai take 7 hours. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from the airport. Free private parking on-site. Book flights to Dubai.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

The theme here is of mixing an Arabesque design with minimalism, creating an uplifting contemporary look. Light, neutral colours are used throughout and little touches like a small pottery display add to the character.

THE FACILITIES

The hotel lacks facilities like a spa or children's club, but it does have a small pool and a petite 24-hour fitness centre. A free shuttle to Dubai Mall and nearby beaches is provided, and there are two eateries. Free valet parking is offered, and there is a small business centre in the lobby.
