THE LOOK AND FEEL

It took four years to convert the baths into an outstanding luxury hotel full of character. Memories of the building's former use linger on in upcycled coat racks made from pipes and white-tiled meeting rooms with original features such as soap dishes. Work by Berlin artists includes powerful travel photography and performance video shot at the pool.

THE FACILITIES

The 20m swimming pool and sauna are open to non-residents for a fee (hotel guests get a reduced rate). This can be drained in 20 minutes to make a spectacular event space so is not always available. Guests are given prior warning of this, or you can contact the hotel for closure dates before making a reservation.
