You can also fly from London to Milan Linate (1 hour 50 mins) and drive 25 minutes from the airport. Parking available for €40 per day. Book flights to Milan.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

The building opened as Milan's first railway station in 1840 when the city was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the neoclassical façade has been well preserved. Inside, the décor is contemporary and few original features remain. Fun displays of antique luggage and liquor bottles decorate the reception area, while corridors are painted a cheerful turquoise.

THE FACILITIES

A small co-working space in the reception area is a sociable place to catch up on email, while a fitness room has the latest Technogym equipment and there's a small spa. An underground car park is handy if you are combining a trip to Milan with a drive to the lakes.
