THE LOOK AND FEEL

Situated in a restored Californian Renaissance Revival landmark building, the décor of the hotel is uplifting, striking and colourful, inspired by Mexican modernism and incorporating French and Moroccan touches. As well as murals, installations and other artworks, there's a tiled reception desk, stained-glass windows and doors, bespoke mirrors and other features.

THE FACILITIES

The hotel has a rooftop heated pool and sundeck, although it is not so big and more geared to socialising than for sunbathing and a swim. There are three bar/restaurant areas, and a 24-hour well-stocked fitness centre, with private wellness sessions available on request. Bikes and valet parking are also available.
