On 8 August, Wilderness Scotland are offering the chance to explore Scotland's whisky region by canoe, paddling the length of the River Spey. The deal costs £795pp, with four nights' half-board, transport, a canoeing guide and equipment.
Soon... Sample seafood in Sweden
Inntravel has a trip running on 6 September, that skirts around Sweden's West Coast, taking in fishing villages and local seafood in the Koster Islands and Fjallbacka on the mainland. The price of £1,080pp includes six nights' B&B, five dinners and transfers but not travel to Sweden.
Later... A southern Asian adventure
For departures in October and November, the price of Explore's "Secrets of Sri Lanka" tour is £2,130pp. Including 13 nights' B&B accommodation, flights, a guide and transfers, it visits Kandy, Yala National Park, the historic town of Galle and the beaches of Bentota.

Exclusive Escapes has a week at the luxurious Deniz Feneri Lighthouse near Kas on Turkey's Lycian Coast for £950pp. Departing on 23 August, the package includes breakfast, flights to Dalaman, transfers, a day's gulet cruise and a Turkish bath.
