Onefinestay has broadened its portfolio of luxurious homes to rent in London, Paris, Los Angeles and New York to include apartments in Rome. From one-bedroom flats in the city centre to the former home of Raphael, properties come with an iPhone loaded with information, a concierge and welcome hamper.

Age gap

The Spanish government-run chain of paradors – historic hotels – has an unusual April promotion aimed at enticing younger guests. Those in their twenties pay €60 a double; in their thirties, €85; and in their forties, €99. The latter two include breakfast.

Stream in

Eurostar has launched an entertainment system on its new E320 fleet between London and Paris. Films, TV series, documentaries and news are available to stream on mobile devices and laptops. There is free onboard wi-fi, which was reported as patchy when the trains launched in December.

Journey Latin America is offering a supported, self-drive 4x4 holiday in Peru. UK framed

Images of Britain taken by international photographers from the 1930s onwards have been curated into an intriguing exhibition by the photographer Martin Parr. “Strange and Familiar”, at the Barbican, captures the zeitgeist from London to the Outer Hebrides. It opened this week and runs to 19 June.

Visitors can now enjoy unlimited travel around Scotland by land, sea and rail on one ticket. There are two types of Spirit of Scotland Travelpass: four days' travel over eight consecutive days (£134) or eight days' travel over 15 consecutive days (£179.70).

Green peace

The 10-room Green Leaf Boutique Hotel has opened in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Run as a not-for-profit organisation, it reinvests proceeds in local water purification, orphanage and education programmes. It also offers tours, bicycle rental, cookery lessons, and has a pool.

Rare route

This summer, British Airways is shifting one of its planes from London City airport to Stansted for weekend flights. As a consequence of this, the airline is operating one flight a week on Sunday afternoons from Stansted to Berlin (pictured) and a return journey the following Friday evening. The services start on 19 June.
