Since the original iPad launched in 2010, Apple’s iPads have dominated the tablet market, with the most powerful models being as capable as some laptops when it comes to streaming, gaming, browsing and video editing. While these devices come at a premium price, we’re here to help you save by bringing you the best iPad deals.

It also goes without saying that you can save on a new tablet by opting for a non-Apple device, but if you’re shopping for an iPad specifically, the Apple Store itself isn’t likely to have the best deal. Your best bet is to check third-party retailers like Amazon, Currys and Very, as these often beat Apple on price.

And of course, you can make mega savings by shopping refurbished. Refurbished goods are pre-owned products that have been inspected and repaired so that they’re in full working order. If you do go down this route, make sure you opt for a reputable retailer, such as Back Market, and check any reviews before you buy.

But if you do want a brand-new iPad, I’ve scoured our favourite tech retailers to find the best prices on the iPad Pro, iPad Air and more. Keep reading to find out the discounts to shop this month.

Why you can trust us to find the best iPad deals

As The Independent’s senior tech critic, I specialise in Apple’s latest gear, having tried and tested the brand’s products while writing extensively about its latest launches. I’d only ever recommend a genuine discount from retailers that I trust and would buy from myself. Alongside our team of expert deal-hunters, I continuously track the prices of Apple tech, including AirPods, iPads, the Apple Watch and more, so I can present you with the best deals as soon as they drop.

The best iPad deals for November 2025 in the UK are:

Apple iPad Pro M4, 13in: Was £1,299, now £1,199, Argos.co.uk

(Apple)

The latest generation of iPad Pro launched last year, with the new M4 chipset giving it the best performance of any tablet in Apple’s range. Tech critic, David Phelan, called it “monstrously powerful” and “somehow slimmer than an iPod Nano” in his iPad Pro review. Right now, there’s £100 off on the 13-inch model at Argos.

Apple iPad mini, 7th gen: Was £499, now £461, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

You can get Apple’s newest iPad mini for £461 on Amazon, which is about the cheapest you’ll find it for right now. If you miss this deal, it’s being sold for the same price at John Lewis. Our tech critic, David Phelan, called it “a premium device with strong performance” and “easily the best small-screen tablet you can buy” in his iPad Mini 7th gen review.

Apple iPad 2025 11-inch, 128GB: Was £329, now £299, Argos.co.uk

(Argos)

The latest iPad is Apple’s entry-level model for those looking for all the core features without having to pay up to £1,000. The updates include a longer battery life and a faster A16 chip. We’re still testing it out, but if it’s anything like the 10th-gen, we’ve got high hopes. There’s a small discount at Argos at the moment, but I’m predicting greater discounts as we approach Black Friday.

Apple smart folio for iPad mini: Was £59, now £49, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon.co.uk)

You can currently get £10 off this smart folio case for the iPad Mini, though we’ve seen better deals on this product, so it may be worth waiting for Black Friday. Designed for the 7th generation iPad Mini, Apple’s official smart folio case offers your tablet protection on the front and back and uses a folding design that allows you to prop the iPad up on a desk for viewing, typing or making video calls.

Apple iPad deals FAQs

How I find the best iPad deals

I’m constantly tracking the price of Apple’s range of iPads across all the major retailers, watching to see when the price falls and comparing the current price against competitor sites. I begin tracking the price the second Apple puts an iPad on sale, and I am always looking for the cheapest prices. I only look at deals from reputable websites, so you can trust that these deals are genuine.

What are the pros of an iPad vs other, potentially cheaper tablets?

There’s a reason people opt for iPhones and iOS devices instead of Android ones – they’re just easier to use, with a simple and intuitive interface. The iPadOS looks exactly the same as your iPhone, so you’ll be able to use it without any learning curve, and you get access to the thousands of apps on the App Store. But the biggest benefit is that you’ll be inside Apple’s ecosystem, so that all your devices will work together – your iPhone and MacBook. Overall, it’s just a simpler, more accessible tablet, with large, stunning displays, plus FaceTime and iMessage support.

Is a refurbished iPad a good deal?

If you’re on a tighter budget, it’s definitely worth considering buying a refurbished iPad from Apple directly or from a third-party reseller, such as Amazon or MusicMagpie. There are often significant discounts compared to unboxed iPads, and they look and work like new.

All refurbished products on Apple’s website are given a new battery and outer shell, contain all the same manuals and accessories and come in a new white box. You also get a one-year warranty – the same as if you had bought a brand-new iPad.

“Certified refurbished” or “renewed” iPads from Amazon also go through a rigorous refurbishing process. They’re inspected for damage and tested to ensure all of the functions are working, and missing or broken parts are replaced. The item is fully cleaned, and only then will it be sold at a discount. If your iPad breaks within a year, Amazon will either replace it or give you a refund.

MusicMagpie says every iPad or tablet sold on its website store goes through an extensive in-house refurbishment process, performing more than 90 tests before it’s resold. You’re covered for 12 months if you find a technical defect, and if you’re not happy, you’ve got a 14-day money-back guarantee.

It’s also worth familiarising yourself with MusicMagpie’s grading policy. All of its iPads should be in full working order, but some could have signs of wear. There are three refurbishment grades. “Pristine” products will be in excellent condition cosmetically, “very good” devices will have some small signs of use, and “good” devices will have moderate signs of wear and tear.
