By booking in advance, you’ll save up to 50 per cent on your Chessington tickets. Booking online slashes the price considerably on single-day tickets, which include entry to the theme park and the zoo. Online tickets start from £32, but if you were to buy walk-up tickets on the day, you’d pay upwards of £66.
If you’re planning to turn your trip to Chessington into a staycation, consider the great deals on overnight stays with park entry. These offers start from £54 per person, with entry to both the theme park and zoo, free breakfast, early ride access, free parking and hotel entertainment. You can choose from themed and standard rooms, which the kids will love (think Jumanji, Oreo, Capri-Sun, Gruffalo and Room on The Broom rooms). If you’ve got a little extra time to spare, Chessington’s overnight deals are a total steal.

Take advantage of Chessington’s student discount
If you’re still in education, Chessington World of Adventures offers an exclusive student discount to Student Beans members. Enjoy the on-site theme park, zoo and Sea Life Centre at a reduced rate of just £21 – that’s 31 per cent cheaper than the standard online day ticket cost and 68 per cent cheaper than the on-the-gate price.
Simply sign in or register with Student Beans to redeem your Chessington promo code and prebook your ticket online. On the day of your visit, you’ll need to present a valid student ID alongside your booking confirmation.
Get 20 per cent off with the Merlin holiday club
If you want to save extra, join the Merlin holiday club and get up to 20 per cent off your short breaks. Available to all Merlin annual pass holders, the holiday club gets you discounts on overnight stays in themed hotels, including the on-site safari and Azteca resort hotels, and glamping options. Short breaks must be booked through the Merlin website for this reduced rate to be applied.
All hotel stays at Chessington include a wild-themed room, free buffet breakfast, free parking, evening hotel entertainment, access to the Savannah Splash Pool, free Wi‑Fi and early access to the park between 9–10 am on selected dates.
Blue Light Card holders save £41 on Chessington tickets
Blue Light Card holders can take advantage of exclusive Chessington member days, offering theme park and zoo access for £25 per person (a regular pre-booked ticket costs around £29).
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis by logging into your Blue Light Card account, searching for “Chessington member day” and booking your tickets through the link provided.
The £25 ticket fee covers both adults and children (under-threes also need a ticket, but entry is free), and includes complimentary parking and access to the zoo area. Accommodation must be booked separately, and these special offers are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Christmas at Chessington – book the Winter’s Tail experience

Chessington’s Winter’s Tail returns for 2025, running on selected dates between 22 November and 31 December, with tickets from £22 per person. The park will be transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with twinkling lights, carollers, festive shows and plenty of family-friendly fun.
Wander through the Christmas Village (for an extra £10), where elves lead you through snowy woodland to meet Father Christmas in his grotto. You can also explore the Enchanted Hollow: Toy Workshop, where little ones might receive an early gift. Selected rides and attractions remain open, along with Chessington’s zoo and SEA LIFE aquarium, so there’s plenty to enjoy in addition to the festive magic.
Short breaks start from around £53 per person, including an overnight stay in one of the resort hotels (Safari or Azteca) with breakfast, parking, Wi-Fi and entry to the Winter’s Tail experience. You can even request to book a special Christmas-themed bedroom, with fairy lights, garlands and a decorated tree.
