We all know how essential a good night’s sleep is for our health, but with a quality mattress costing hundreds (if not thousands) of pounds, it’s probably not a purchase you’re thrilled about making. Fortunately, there are often solid deals that can help you upgrade your sleep setup for a fraction of the price. I’ve scoured the top retailers to bring you the best mattress deals from the likes of Eve Sleep, Dusk, Nectar and more.
As someone who tests mattresses for a living, one of the main pieces of advice I can give you is to consider your sleeping style when choosing a new mattress. Everyone is different – whether you sleep on your back or your side, if you toss and turn or you’re out like a light in five minutes, there’s a mattress out there for you. Over the years, I’ve tested a wide variety of beds, so check out my guide to the best mattresses of 2026, which includes everything from memory foam options to firm mattresses and hybrid designs.

Best mattress deals for January 2026
Simba hybrid pro mattress: Was £799.99, now £719.99, Bensonsforbeds.co.uk

A hybrid mattress uses both memory foam and springs to balance comfort and back support. In her review of the Simba hybrid pro, IndyBest tester Zoë Phillimore found it very comfortable after sleeping on it for several weeks. “There is a gentle sink when you first sit on the mattress – this comes from the foam, mainly. But you don’t sink in so much that you struggle to roll over at night,” she said. Right now, you can save £80 on this mattress when you buy it via Bensons For Beds.
Emma hybrid original double mattress: Was £479, now £299, Landofbeds.co.uk

This Emma mattress is designed to support your entire body. When putting an older version of this mattress to the test, reviewer Zoë Phillimore said: “I really appreciated the foam’s low transference of motion, which meant my sleep was far less disturbed by my fidgety partner.” You can now get the latest version of the mattress for £299 from Land of Beds.
Origin hybrid pro: Was £403, now £305, Originmattress.co.uk

This mattress-in-a-box made it into my review of the best mattresses, thanks to its fantastic temperature regulation and support. The hybrid pro provided firm zoned support that, believe it or not, actually improved my partner’s snoring. He also woke up significantly free of his usual shoulder aches. Now’s a good time to buy while the mattress has nearly £100 off.
Dusk memory foam 4,000 pocket sprung hybrid mattress: Was £409, now £349, Dusk.com

Dusk’s hybrid mattress “brings a premium feel at an affordable price”, said IndyBest tester Zoë Phillimore, in her review. “Unlike other memory foam beds, this is medium-firm, so there’s none of that awkward sinking feeling.” It also has great edge support, so it’s a good option for side-sleepers.
Nectar premier hybrid double mattress: Was £1,199, now £669, Landofbeds.co.uk

If you’re looking for a mattress with medium firmness, this is my top choice, and it’s on sale with a modest discount. Unlike many memory foam mattresses, this one is breathable, and, as I noted in my best mattresses roundup, my pressure points felt supported and my spine aligned after sleeping on this hybrid design. This is a great option for couples, as I couldn’t feel my spouse turning in the night. Nectar mattresses also come with a 365-night trial and forever warranty, which is stronger than most of its competitors. If you don’t get on with it, Nectar will let you return it free of charge.
