Arsenal v West Ham LIVE: Premier League result and reaction as Hammers move into top six with shock away win
Arsenal 0-2 West Ham: Arsenal miss out on the chance to go top of the table as David Moyes wins for the first time at the Emirates
Arsenal missed out on the chance to move top of the Premier League table as they slumped to a 2-0 loss and a first home defeat of the season against West Ham.
The home slide flew out of the traps in the early goings but soon found themselves behind when Tomas Soucek slammed home an effort in the first half, which stood after a lengthy VAR check couldn’t determine whether the ball had gone out of play in the build-up.
David Moyes had never won away against Arsenal in his managerial career but his team took a further step towards victory when former Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos headed home from a corner after the break.
Declan Rice started his first league game against his former side and saw his blushes saved late on when David Raya saved Said Benrahma’s injury-time penalty after the former Hammers skipper brought down Emerson in the penalty area. Relive all the match action and reaction below:
