Ipswich Town vs West Ham United
West Ham end their Premier League season with a 3-1 win over Ipswich. West Ham strolled to victory in this match as Ipswich struggled to create many meaningful chances, while West Ham controlled 59% of possession and were efficient in their goalscoring when they did create opportunities to secure the win. A late first-half goal from Ward-Prowse and second-half strikes from Bowen and substitute Kudus were enough to see the visitors victorious, while Broadhead’s equaliser early in the second half proved to be a consolation goal for the hosts. West Ham were well worth their victory, controlling possession from the off. They opened the scoring in the 43rd minute as Bowen intercepted a back pass before squaring to Ward-Prowse to place his shot into an empty goal. Ipswich equalised through a Broadhead strike in the 52nd minute before Bowen re-established West Ham’s lead just three minutes later, making it 2-1. Kudus scored late on in the 87th minute to wrap up the three points, just as Ipswich were increasing the pressure on the West Ham goal in search of an equaliser. West Ham created the better chances as they had an xG of 0.98 from their 10 efforts, with six on target. While Ipswich had an xG of 0.79 from their 14 attempts, with four on target. West Ham's victory signs off a disappointing season for both sides, as the visitors had lofty ambitions at the start of the campaign but finished in the bottom half of the Premier League, while Ipswich were relegated back to the Championship after one season in the top flight.

JUST WIDE! Clarke comes so close to making it level once again, but his effort is just wide of the goal. The winger received the ball wide left, halfway inside the West Ham half. He drove past the West Ham defenders, cutting inside towards the middle of the goal. As he reached the edge of the penalty area, he curled his shot towards goal. Unfortunately for him, he couldn’t get enough bend on it, and it goes just wide.
