Gibbs-White should have his second! Forest should be ahead as a counter attack led by Elanga results in a cross which deflects into the path of the Forest skipper who is completely free on the penalty spot - he stoops to head the ball home but diverts is straight at Stolarczyk. Huge chance.

A Leicester free-kick is defended well by Aina, as Thomas sends in a follow up delivery from the left which is punched well by Sels but only as far as Justin on the edge of the box, who tries to volley it back into the danger zone but his effort is weak.

HUGE CHANCE! Sangare curls a lovely cross from the right to the back post where Dominguez is at full stretch but cannot find the touch that would surely have put Forest ahead.

Nottingham Forest vs Leicester City
An entertaining 45 minutes at the City Ground as Coady headed Leicester into an unlikely early lead after 16 minutes. Van Nistelrooy’s side looked relatively comfortable then until the 25th minute when Gibbs-White nodded home Elanga’s excellent free-kick to get Forest back in the driving seat as they look for a crucial win in the Champions League race. Wood will be disappointed to have not got himself on the scoresheet, missing three first-half chances, two of which were comfortable headers for Forest’s top scorer. Leicester’s 0.46 xG compared to Forest’s 0.89 xG shows the home sides dominance but the visitors have not been without threat. Nuno's side will need to step their game up in this second half if they are to keep pace with Aston Villa, Chelsea and Manchester City.

Forest nearly lead on the stroke of half-time. Williams cuts a ball back for Dominguez, who has hardly featured in the first half. The Argentine hits a powerful half-volley which is saved by Stolarczyk into the path of Wood who heads over from a few yards out. Another excellent chance for Wood.
