Wrexham vs Cardiff live: Visitors knock out old enemy in all-Welsh Carabao Cup tie
Wrexham 1-2 Cardiff: Cardiff sealed their spot in the last eight with a deserved win

Cardiff got the better of old foes Wrexham in a battle of Welsh clubs to book their spot in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
Meeting for the first time in more than two decades, the capital club had much the better of most of the fourth-round encounter, emerging as 2-1 winners thanks to a fine finish from Will Fish in the second half. Cardiff, going well in League One, had nudged in front through Yousef Salech and should perhaps have made more of their early supremacy, squandering a number of chances before the interval.
The half-time introduction of Kieffer Moore threatened, though, to swing things the hosts’ way, with the striker soon scoring with a towering header. But Fish’s volley from a free kick earned a deserved win for the visitors, holding firm late on to seal their spot in the hat for tomorrow night’s draw.

Joel and Rubin Colwill speak to ITV
“It’s a great night,” Joel says. “We pressed really well and had the good moments in the game. We’ve had some really good games this year. As long as we can keep doing what we are doing in training each day, the results will keep coming.”
And brother Rubin adds: “We showed a lot of character. We’ve changed the way we are playing, it’s a different style, and sometimes it can be a bit unnerving. Sometimes you can feel a bit nervous. But there is only more to come from us. It’s so special for us. Growing up, lifelong Cardiff fans, we’re living the dream.”

Kieffer Moore has been a real handful since he came on, but Wrexham haven’t quite managed to get around the big target-man often enough. Lewis O’Brien at last does so, contesting a second ball after Moore had won the first high hoist, and is somewhat harshly adjudged to have made a foul as he wins the header.
