Hotel Review: MarBella, Corfu
Families will love the many facilities and activities including a beach, pools, small water park, spa, gym and a host of bars and restaurants offering different cuisines. The guest rooms are impressive too, contemporary and stylish, with balconies offering great views.

OUR REVIEW
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Located on the south-east corner of Corfu in Agios Ioannis Peristeron, overlooking the Ionian Sea, the hotel is situated over the road - the eastern coastal road - from the beach. It is also little more than 100 metres from sister hotel Marbella Nido, and its extra facilities. It is a relatively quiet area. The airport and Corfu town are a 20-minute drive.
By plane: flights from London to Corfu take just over 3 hours. It's a 30-minute drive to the hotel. Free on-site parking. Book flights to Corfu.
THE LOOK AND FEEL
The ambience here is very different from the sister hotel (the adults-only Nido) next door. This one is a lot bigger, and for families. There are some charming aspects, such as the flowerbeds adorned with colourful flowers, lavender and olive and pomegranate trees. With the sea on one side and tree-clad hills the other, it is certainly in beautiful surroundings.
THE FACILITIES
The beach is across the road, accessible from the elevated garden. There's a large heated pool and a kids pool with flume and water park. There are 12 restaurants and bars; the gym is surprisingly small but there's a studio for yoga and spin classes. Other facilities include tennis, football, table tennis, creche and kids clubs, water sports centre and mini-market.
