Opposite Somerset House, the triangular building sits at the bottom of Aldwych where it meets the Strand. The shops and theatres of Covent Garden and Drury Lane are a few minutes in one direction, while the art buildings of the Southbank are a pleasant stroll across Waterloo Bridge. The Transport Museum, Covent Garden Piazza and about eight theatres are all within a ten-minute walk.

By car: around 2 hours from Brighton, 2 hours 30 mins from Bristol and 4 hours from Manchester. On-site parking costs £49 per day.

By train: there are direct trains to London Waterloo from Salisbury (1 hour 30 mins), Portsmouth (1 hour 30 mins) and Exeter (3 hours 15 mins). The hotel is a five-minute taxi ride from the station. Book trains to London.
