Hotel Review
BLESS Hotel, Madrid, Spain
A super-swish five-star hotel with a youthful vibe. Drink cocktails while the DJ spins Spanish and international tunes, dine on excellent Asian fusion cuisine while being entertained by circus performers and dance into the small hours in the club. The rooftop terrace is a real pull in summer.

OUR REVIEW
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
This is a great spot for a city break if you've come to Madrid to shop. You're right in the heart of the upmarket Salamanca district with all the major boutiques and high street brands within a few blocks of the hotel. Núñez de Balboa and Velázquez metro stations are both a five-minute walk away. El Corte Inglés department store is just a few minutes' walk; Retiro park is 15 minutes away.
By plane: fly from London (2 hours 20 mins), Manchester (2 hours 40 mins) and Edinburgh (2 hours 45 mins). The hotel is around a 30-minute drive from the airport. Book flights to Madrid.
THE LOOK AND FEEL
There's a welcoming and relaxed vibe to this hotel from the minute you walk in, thanks largely to the fun-loving clientele. The colourful interior design by Lázaro Rosa-Violan references the traditional style of Madrid's grand apartments with plenty of playful contemporary touches. The result is the feeling of being at a house party.
THE FACILITIES
This is a grown-up playground for hedonists with plenty of staff on hand to assist you with every request. For late-night antics, there's a nightclub with a pole-dancing room and bowling alley, while a bijou spa on the ground floor has a couple of treatment rooms offering Beldon Beauty facials and massages.
