If you’re a fan of online browsing, chances are you’ll know there are plenty of ways you can save while you shop, including by using Amazon’s lesser-known outlet store, with discounts on thousands of clearance products, as well as clothing outlets that slash prices on brands like Asos and Mulberry. These hidden discount websites are dubbed the internet’s best-kept secret – and we’re about to let you in on yet another one. 

Amazon’s hidden gem, the Treasure Truck, is the answer to your deal-hunting prayers. The online giant’s in-house team do the hard work for you by tracking down trending, exclusive or highly-discounted items across categories such as home and kitchen or tech and gaming. 

If it’s an offer day, you can sign up to receive a text with details of the bargain. If you’d rather not get an SMS, you can also follow the action on Twitter or Instagram

After you’ve seen a deal you’re after, to buy it all you need to do is have the latest version of the Amazon app (available on iOS and Android), before navigating to “Treasure Truck” in the main menu under “programs and features”.

While you don’t have to be a prime member to subscribe to the Treasure Truck, we’d recommend signing up to the service so you can benefit from free delivery. The monthly membership costs £7.99, or you can pay an annual sum of £79, and you’ll also be granted access to more than 800,000 free ebooks and the use of prime video and Amazon’s music services.
