What a series. We’ve fallen for Richard’s little blue pencil, tweeted furiously about bin-gate (#justiceforian), groaned in fond exasperation at Norman and his exotic pesto, and debated the curse of the star baker late into the night. There’s even been hoards (ok, seven) of complaints over Mel and Sue’s “smutty remarks”. Now, in honour of the final of the Great British Bake Off 2014, we’ve turned our hand to cake decorating.
From turntables and icing smoothers to stencils and colouring pastes, we’ve collected the ten best cake decorating tools to create masterpieces that would impress even the steely eyes of “the male judge” – just make sure he keeps his “digit of doom” at a safe distance.
